STORY
A career chosen for one reason.
Dr. Chandraprakasam completed his undergraduate medical training at the prestigious Stanley Medical College, among the top-25 premier medical institutions in India, and his post-graduate internal medicine residency at Madurai Medical College.
Fascinated by the intricacies of cardiovascular medicine, he worked as Cardiology Registrar at the Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Madras Medical Mission. He then moved to the United States to complete his internal medicine residency at Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, where he served as chief resident.
His cardiovascular medicine fellowship at Creighton University, Omaha, was followed by an interventional cardiology fellowship covering coronary, peripheral/endovascular and structural heart interventions — where he served as chief cardiovascular fellow.
He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honor medical society and has published research in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national meetings.

Victoria Bainbridge, PA-C
Victoria is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in cardiovascular, peripheral vascular, and structural heart disease. She will assist Dr. Chandraprakasam by providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in both the clinic and hospital settings. Victoria was born and raised in Texas and is dedicated to serving the community and upholding the mission of Trident Heart and Vascular.
